Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the PeptideMetrix website and Chrome extension process, what stays on your device, and what may be sent to service providers.

Effective date: September 20, 2026

Extension calculations stay local

The Chrome extension performs its calculator arithmetic with code packaged in the extension. Calculation inputs are not sent to the PeptideMetrix website for calculation.

The website checks its arithmetic

The web calculator calculates in your browser and sends the required numeric values plus the selected syringe scale to its own server endpoint for an arithmetic comparison.

The website uses analytics

The website uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and general site usage. Calculator inputs are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics by the application code.

1. About PeptideMetrix

PeptideMetrix is an arithmetic and unit-conversion utility. The calculator accepts values supplied by the user and returns concentration, liquid-volume and syringe-scale calculations. It does not choose or recommend a dose, and it does not require a PeptideMetrix account.

2. PeptideMetrix Chrome extension

The Chrome extension is a separately packaged version of the calculator designed to work from the browser toolbar or a full extension tab.

Information processed by the extension

To perform a calculation, the extension may process the values you enter, including:

  • entered peptide amount in mg or mcg;
  • total vial strength in mg;
  • water or final solution volume in mL;
  • selected syringe scale, such as U-100, U-40, U-500 or mL;
  • syringe capacity; and
  • an optional peptide label if you choose one for your own reference.

These values may be health-related information because a user can enter them in connection with a health or treatment-related calculation.

Local calculation

The Chrome extension performs its calculator logic locally using code packaged with the extension. Calculation inputs entered in the extension are not transmitted to the PeptideMetrix website for calculation, and PeptideMetrix does not maintain a server-side database of those extension calculation inputs.

Optional local storage

If you choose to remember a calculation, the extension may save the selected values on the current device or browser profile so they can be restored later. Interface preferences, such as theme selection, may also be stored locally. Local data can be removed through the extension's clear controls or your browser's site and extension data controls.

Information the extension does not collect for its calculator function

The PeptideMetrix calculator does not need your name, email address, telephone number, physical address, payment details, account password, precise location, browsing history, website content or personal communications to perform its calculation.

The extension does not monitor the websites you visit for advertising or profiling, and calculation inputs are not sold or used to create advertising profiles.

3. PeptideMetrix website

The website and the Chrome extension do not use the same calculation flow.

The website first performs the arithmetic in your browser. When connected, it also sends the following calculation fields to PeptideMetrix's own /api/calculate.php endpoint to compare the browser result with a separately implemented server result:

  • vial strength;
  • final solution volume;
  • entered amount;
  • syringe capacity; and
  • selected syringe scale.

The optional peptide name or label is not included in that server-comparison request. A matching browser and server result confirms arithmetic agreement only. It does not verify the user's inputs or establish safety.

4. Local storage on the website

Saving a calculation on the website is optional. If you select Remember this calculation on this device, the current calculation values and selected label are stored in your browser's local storage. The website's theme preference is stored separately.

You can remove the saved calculation with Clear saved calculation. You can also clear local site data through your browser settings. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to view data that remains stored in that profile.

5. Google Analytics on the website

The PeptideMetrix website loads Google Analytics 4 using measurement ID G-LHCK53DDJ1. Google Analytics is used to understand general website traffic and usage.

Google states that its default web measurement can collect session statistics, approximate geolocation, browser and device information, page URLs and a client identifier stored in a first-party cookie. Google also states that IP addresses are used during collection and are handled according to its regional data practices.

PeptideMetrix does not intentionally send the calculator values described above to Google Analytics through the calculator application code. Google Analytics data is processed under Google's terms and privacy practices. You can learn more in Google's Analytics data collection documentation and Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Server and hosting information

The PeptideMetrix application code does not intentionally write calculator input values to an application database or application log for the arithmetic comparison. Hosting, security and network infrastructure can still process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website.

Depending on the hosting configuration, this technical information may include an IP address, browser or user-agent information, request time, requested URL, response status and security logs. Retention of infrastructure logs is controlled by the applicable hosting and security configuration.

7. User-initiated copy, share, print and download

PeptideMetrix can provide controls to copy, share, print or download a calculation. Those actions occur only when you choose them. If you use your device's share function, the destination you select will receive the information you chose to share and will handle it under its own privacy practices.

8. How information is used

Information processed by PeptideMetrix is used only for the functions described on this site, including performing calculations, checking arithmetic, restoring an optional saved calculation, remembering interface preferences, measuring general website usage, maintaining the service, troubleshooting and protecting the website.

9. Sharing and service providers

PeptideMetrix does not sell calculation inputs. Information may be processed by service providers when needed to host, secure, operate or measure the website. At the time of this policy, the website includes Google Analytics as an analytics provider. Hosting and network providers may also process technical request information as part of delivering the website.

Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security of PeptideMetrix, its users or its services.

10. Retention

Chrome extension calculation inputs are not retained on PeptideMetrix servers because the extension performs its calculator arithmetic locally and does not send those inputs to the PeptideMetrix website for calculation.

Data intentionally saved in browser local storage remains there until it is cleared through PeptideMetrix or the browser. Google Analytics data is retained according to the settings and policies that apply to the PeptideMetrix Analytics property. Hosting and security logs may be retained according to the configuration of the relevant infrastructure provider.

11. Security

PeptideMetrix uses HTTPS on the public website. The application is designed to limit calculation-related server requests to the fields needed for the arithmetic comparison. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should avoid entering information that is not required for the calculation.

12. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

PeptideMetrix limits use of extension data to providing and improving the extension's disclosed calculator functions and related operational purposes. PeptideMetrix does not sell extension user data, use it for personalized advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

13. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when PeptideMetrix changes its website, extension, service providers or data practices. The effective date at the top of this page will be changed when a revised policy is published.

14. Privacy questions

For privacy questions about the Chrome extension, use the developer contact information shown with the PeptideMetrix listing in the Chrome Web Store. The public website is https://peptidemetrix.com/.
