Peptide Reconstitution Calculator

Peptide Calculator

Enter your dose in mg or mcg, peptide strength in mg, and water in mL. Calculate concentration, liquid volume and selected syringe markings with clear formulas and capacity checks.

Your calculation

Enter the amount from your existing instructions. This calculator does not choose a dose.

Example numbers only. Use your own instructions and vial label.

How much for one dose?

Dose of Peptide

Enter the amount from your instructions. mg and mcg are different units: 1 mg = 1,000 mcg.

mg

Or choose a value

0.1 mg = 100 mcg

How much is in the whole vial?

Strength of Peptide

milligrams (mg)

Read the total amount on the vial label. Enter it in mg (milligrams).

How much water is added?

Water of Peptide

millilitres (mL)

Enter water in mL (millilitres). We assume this is also the final mixed volume; if different, use the final volume.

mL

Or choose a value

Choose your syringe size

Tap the size printed on your syringe. Check that its markings match the label below.

More syringe options

For another size, enter its full capacity in mL (up to 1000). 1 cc = 1 mL. Match the scale on the actual barrel.

Needle length and gauge do not change this calculation. Pen clicks and biological IU are not supported.

Pictures identify size options only. They are not to scale or a measuring guide.

Your calculation result

For 0.1 mg, calculated U-100 equivalent:

Fill in the three boxes above to see your result.

Enter valuesunits

This amount fits the selected syringe and vial. Check the actual markings before using the result.

U-100: 100 units = 1 mL. Diagram is illustrative, not a measurement guide. Check actual graduations; fractional results may not be measurable. Display values are rounded.

  • Results reflect your inputs, nothing more. Every number below comes directly from the values you type in. The calculator has no way to know whether those values are correct, it only performs the arithmetic.
  • Verification is on you. You are responsible for confirming your vial strength, water volume, syringe size, and target dose against your own label and protocol before drawing any solution.
  • We're not liable for how it's used. The site and its owners are not responsible for outcomes resulting from incorrect inputs or decisions made using the calculated results.
  • Double-check before you draw. Please review every value on screen once more before using the output for anything.
What is this?

What it calculates
Solution concentration, volume per dose, and the syringe unit to pull to.
Why use it
Shows the calculation and flags capacity limits for you to review.
What you'll need
Your vial's mg strength, water volume, syringe size, and target dose.
How it works

How to use the peptide calculator

Enter your dose, vial strength and water volume, then confirm your U-100 syringe capacity. The tool converts the supplied values; it does not choose a dose.

  1. 01

    Dose of Peptide

Enter the amount from your instructions. mg and mcg are different units: 1 mg = 1,000 mcg.

  2. 02

    Strength of Peptide

Read the total amount on the vial label. Enter it in mg (milligrams).

  3. 03

    Water of Peptide

Enter water in mL (millilitres). We assume this is also the final mixed volume; if different, use the final volume.

  4. 04

    Pick your syringe

Read the barrel scale: U-100, U-40, U-500 or mL. Then enter its capacity in mL. Match the actual device; scale and size are separate.

Under the hood U-100 equivalent = (dose mcg ÷ ((vial mg × 1000) ÷ final volume mL)) × 100
Why this calculator

Calculation features and limits.

See how the arithmetic works, how inputs are handled and when to recheck a result.

Transparent arithmetic

Calculations use unrounded intermediate values. Displayed results use up to nine significant digits and may be rounded; syringe measurement accuracy is not guaranteed.

Instant browser calculation

The website sends four numeric inputs to its own PHP endpoint for an arithmetic comparison. Saving a calculation on this device is optional. Peptide labels stay in the browser.

Browser/server comparison

The browser compares the PHP result with its local arithmetic and reports disagreements or connection failures. Agreement does not verify your inputs, protocol or safety.

Built for every screen

From a phone at the lab bench to a widescreen monitor at a desk, the layout adapts without losing precision.

Catches capacity problems early

If a dose won't physically fit your chosen syringe, you'll see a clear warning before you draw anything.

Light & dark interface

A comfortable reading experience at the bench or at a desk, whatever the lighting.

Chrome extension

Use Peptide Metrix from the Chrome toolbar

The Chrome extension uses the same core calculator inputs in a compact browser view and performs its calculator arithmetic locally.

Peptide reconstitution calculator: formula and example

Concentration is mass divided by final solution volume. A U-100 unit is a volume marking, not a fixed mass of peptide.

Calculate peptide concentration

Concentration (mcg/mL) = vial mass (mg) × 1,000 ÷ final solution volume (mL). This assumes the stated mass is accurate and the solution is homogeneous.

Convert mg or mcg to mL and U-100 units

With matching mass units, volume (mL) = dose (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL), or dose (mcg) ÷ concentration (mcg/mL). U-100 equivalent = volume × 100. For U-40, multiply volume by 40; for U-500, multiply by 500. In mL mode there is no unit conversion. Match the markings printed on the actual barrel.

Worked arithmetic example

Enter Dose of Peptide = 0.25 mg (250 mcg), Strength of Peptide = 5 mg, and Water of Peptide = 2 mL. Assuming the final solution volume is 2 mL, concentration is 2.5 mg/mL. The entered amount corresponds to 0.1 mL or 10 U-100 units. This is an arithmetic example, not a dose recommendation.

What this tool cannot decide

It does not choose a dose, solvent, storage temperature, shelf life or preparation method. Use product-specific instructions and qualified professional guidance. Container capacity, solubility, potency, purity and dead-space losses are not modeled.

Methodology and limitations

PeptideMetrix is an arithmetic utility. The browser and PHP implementations calculate the same mass-to-volume conversion. A matching result establishes agreement between two implementations, not independent clinical validation.

Intermediate values are not intentionally rounded. Display values use up to nine significant digits; very small or large values use scientific notation. Results may fall between syringe graduations. The tool does not round to a recommended syringe mark.

The calculator checks numeric validity, syringe capacity and whether an entered amount exceeds the total vial amount. A warning appears below one selected-scale unit. Passing these checks does not establish safe or practical measurement. The theoretical portions-per-vial ratio ignores losses and storage limits.

Examples and preset values are not recommended doses. Selecting a name changes only a label. No medical reviewer or clinical certification is claimed for this release.

Privacy and local storage

The web calculator performs arithmetic in your browser and sends four numeric values to PeptideMetrix's own API for an arithmetic comparison. Saving a calculation is optional and uses local browser storage. The Chrome extension performs its calculation logic locally and does not send calculation inputs to the PeptideMetrix website.

The website also uses Google Analytics to measure visits and general site usage. Calculation inputs are not intentionally sent to Google Analytics by the application code.
